Our 5th consecutive year of offering a non-contact option for players to learn the techniques that are vital to success on the football field. The camp focuses on helping kids increase their skill set prior to putting the pads on. Players are separated by age and skill level and taught through a foundation first teaching style. As the camp continues the little things that make a big difference are added to the base foundation, separating your player from others they are competing against for playing time. Our coaches are focused on building confidence, increasing understanding of the game, and teaching technique that is effective and taught at high levels of football. This camp is recommended for all players, beginners, intermediate, and advanced.

FTFA's Full Contact Camp is being offered after years of parent requests. Have you been disappointed in youth full contact camps in the past? You will not be after attending FTFA's Full contact camp. Pads will be available for rental if you do not own your own. Instruction will come from a staff of current and former college players, current high school coaches, as well as former NFL players. Safety will be a focus with players learning the proper and safe way to Tackle, block, and engage others who are wearing pads. We teach a "Heads Up" style of tackling which has been approved and sanctioned by the NFL and USA Football governing bodies. The camp is fast paced, with physically demanding sessions, and requires players to understand the discipline which is required to safely play the game. Players who have not played tackle football before are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend our Non-Contact camp the previous week to get a strong foundation of football before beginning any sort of full contact camp. Returning tackle football players who are not in "football shape" are also encouraged to attend our Non-Contact Camp to avoid fatigue playing a roll in their learning process.

* Equipment rental is not provided for the full contact camp.

Parent comments:

First Team Football Academy,

Thank you for the excellent football camp. Our son had been asking to play tackle football so we decided to enroll him in your camp as a low risk introduction to the game. After every day at camp, no matter how tired he was, he could not wait to go back. The FTFA staff’s instruction, activities, and mentor-ship raised his interest in football and competition to a whole new level. And he's already looking forward to going back next year.

Thanks again for a great program!

I wanted to thank you for working with my sons. I am pumped to let you know that Justin made the Junior Pee Wee team even though he was the smallest lineman trying out. I KNOW that your "to the point" training and technique focused teaching is why he made the team and he was able to block kids that outweigh him by 30-40 pounds backwards or at the very least to a stalemate. Thank you so much for your help and we can't wait to have Justin in your camp next year.

This morning when I came downstairs (name withheld) was sitting on the couch in his football clothes and cleats ready to go to another day of camp. When I told him the camp was over he was very upset and wanted to know if he could go again next week. Please extend your camp to more days or more weeks next year. We will be at everyone of your events.

Extremely happy parent
